Having the broad perspective needed by the business sector, internalizing the concepts and principles related to the subject, having a high level of professional knowledge and experience, knowing and following the professional legislation, being in line with the theoretical and practical dynamic structure of the sector open to change, being aware of professional responsibility and business ethics, and having occupational health and to train security technicians. Having received the information needed by technological developments, having the skills to carry out risk assessment activities, Occupational Health and Safety general field control activities, emergency application activities, fire prevention and application activities, OHS control activities of work tools and equipment, recording and reporting activities and professional development activities. • The Occupational Health and Safety Technician who graduated from the program is knowledgeable about the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, its regulations and legislation, as required by his profession, is knowledgeable in carrying out the necessary work in the institution in accordance with the legislation, can make reports and prepare the relevant procedures, has the ability to plan and analytical thinking, is prone to team work. Graduates are trained to start their working lives as someone who has the flexibility required by a dynamic working environment, is enthusiastic about following and applying innovations in their field, and has strong communication and analysis skills.
• Graduates are trained to prepare risk assessment and emergency plans, provide occupational health and safety training to the sector and employees, work environment surveillance, and provide guidance by collaborating with relevant units.

Job oppurtunities

• They can be employed in workplaces in all private sector and public institutions where the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 applies.
• They can be employed in (OSGB) Joint Health and Safety units.
• "Occupational Health and Safety Technician" in the construction sector, mines, thermal power plants, construction sites, factories, workshops, hospitals, trade centers, multi-storey high-rise buildings, university and campus schools, shopping malls, fire departments, civil defense and similar emergency organizations.
