The Jewelry Design and Technology Program aims to train original and industrial technicians with high aesthetic and technical qualifications who highlight the cultural and artistic knowledge of the past, artistic creativity and personality with a contemporary understanding.

Competencies

Our country needs educated people in order to follow jewelry technologies, production and development in the world, to look at this issue more universally and to open up to the international jewelry market. The aim of the department is not only to train skilled craftsmen in the field of jewelry, but also to raise individuals who believe in the necessity of an intellectual effort in society and art. While students gain the basic knowledge and technical skills required by the profession, they will be able to receive the necessary art education that will reveal observation, analysis and creativity. It is aimed for students to be able to capture the dimension of artistic thinking, to create methods, and to gain competence in technical and professional subjects. With its program that also includes three-dimensional studies, Jewelry Design and Technology will give students all the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills related to the field in their studies, and in this process, the student's ability to create and It will enable him to create a unique design language in line with his personality.

Our students who graduate from this program receive the title of "Technician".

Students who wish will be able to complete their undergraduate education at colleges related to their fields with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
