Carbon Management Technician Program

Purpose and Introduction of the Program

There are high-carbon emission organizations, lignite fields, active thermal power plants and energy production facilities in Çan district and its surroundings. These enterprises require technical support in carbon emission management and environmental sustainability, both because they are energy-intensive sectors and because they account for a significant share of greenhouse gas emissions.

By opening this program within Çan Vocational School; Çan, Çanakkale and our country on issues such as carbon measurement techniques, emission control systems, environmental legislation, climate policies and carbon footprint calculation; By contributing to the Sustainable Development and Green Transformation process, we aim to train intermediate personnel in emission certification and carbon offsetting. 

Alumni Fields of Study

The Carbon Management Technician program will provide our students with both theoretical and applied knowledge on topics such as carbon measurement techniques, emission control systems, environmental legislation, climate policies and carbon footprint calculation. Thus, individuals who are ready for the labor market will be raised.

Graduates of the department will contribute to the green transformation process of our country by playing an active role in the public and private sectors achieving their sustainability goals.
