With the developments in the field of medicine, the use and necessity of devices in diagnosis and treatment has increased, and naturally, the demands for widespread use of these devices have increased worldwide. Increasing device usage and widespread demand has created the "service support" business field, which has a very important place after production and sales for devices. Technical service personnel working in this field of work also work for human health and quality of life by providing quality service support services with the training they receive, certified duties and jobs.

Competencies

The purpose of the Biomedical Device Technology Program is; Able to perform periodic control, preventive maintenance and repair of existing medical devices in the healthcare sector, follow and adapt to innovations in medical devices, evaluate sellers' offers in terms of quality and cost when purchasing devices, know systems and biomedical devices containing electricity, analog-digital electronics, microcomputer and automation elements, To train technicians who know their features, can apply their knowledge to industrial systems and equipment, can use programmable devices, and can provide usage training to device operators.

Our students who graduate from this program receive the title of "Technician".

Biomedical device technicians can work in public and private hospitals, dispensaries and laboratories, as well as open private businesses in their own names.
