The purpose of the program; In interior and exterior architectural building decoration arts, the application of building decoration materials after the design stages is to bring new decoration suggestions and to preserve the architectural structures, which are our artistic and cultural assets, in accordance with their original form. Architectural Decorative Arts Program, which can work with partnerships of History, Sociology and Art, also includes the subject of "restoration", which is one of the open areas of our country. Graduates have the title of "technician".

Competencies

Architectural Decorative Arts Technicians work as assistants alongside painters, ceramists, architects and engineers during building restorations and new design works in architectural buildings. The technician has practical skills and is open to developments in advanced information technologies and design fields.

Our students who graduate from this program receive the title of "Technician".

Job oppurtunities

Program graduates may have employment opportunities in the Ministry of Public Works and Settlement, Foundations, National Palaces Directorates, Municipalities and Special Provincial Administrations. It is also a department with wide freelance opportunities.

Vertical transmission

Students who want to continue their education can complete their licenses by transferring to the relevant departments of Fine Arts Faculties with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
